Shorter days, and glazed windshields means it's extra important to have headlights, rear lights, and as much reflective gear as you can stomach. Sure, sure... you'll look like a tourist, but better that than going through months of physical therapy to get back on the bike.BikeMikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16887680638245804466noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3752188489330247901.post-47921296811878742542008-10-07T10:49:00.000-07:002008-10-07T10:49:00.000-07:00The commuter trails ie. greenway, cedar lake, diag...The commuter trails ie. greenway, cedar lake, diagonal, sw lrt all get plowed to varying degrees but as far as streets go I would stick to the main drags, they get cleared faster and wider. Most likely because they think we are completely insane.
-willHubstershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07907278666274303336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3752188489330247901.post-7354405578843454462008-10-06T06:40:00.000-07:002008-10-06T06:40:00.000-07:00good stuff. you wouldn't happen to have any point...good stuff. you wouldn't happen to have any pointers / info regarding routes and roads that are typically decent for winter commuting. i understand that the greenway is to be plowed, but info re: routes in minneapolis that are relatively decent for riding.

thanks for the tire info. i've been wondering about the investment in studded tires.steve ulrichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06447533307243570420noreply@blogger.com
